St. Thomas More Newman Center exist as a welcoming Catholic faith community to serve the needs of the students from SUNY Canton and St. Lawrence University. We strive to provide a nurturing and mentoring environment that assists students to grow in their faith and to share their gifts with each other and all of God's people.

Sunday, 8/31 - 11:00 am Opening Mass @ Gunnison Chapel, SLU; Steak Bake @ The Newman Center; Sunday, 9/7 - Hike to Huckleberry Lake; 9/12 - 9/14 - Intercollegiate Diocesan Retreat @ Guggenheim Camp on Saranac Lake; 9/20 - Hope Festival - Canton Village Park, raising money to provide food for the poor in Latin America; 9/27 - Family Weekend Mass... lots more to come, stay tuned!!!!
