The Pontifical Academy for Life has said that Catholics may use, in a narrowly defined limit, vaccines prepared with cell lines derived from aborted children, but with strong warnings regarding our obligation to protest. This applies, not only to the COVID19 vaccines, but many other vaccinations.
There was a great article in the National Catholic Register recently which highlights ways you can object to the use of aborted fetal cells in vaccines.
You can view the article here.
In the article there is mention of our obligation as Catholics to voice our dismay at the use of aborted fetal cell lines in vaccines to the pharmaceutical companies who use them. The USCCB has made this easier by creating template letters to each company.
You can view those letters here.
Another excellent article arguing for the vaccines was recently written by Nicanor Austriaco, O.P., (professor of biology and of theology at Providence College).
The second article can be found here.
